The use of ethanol gas blends in high-performance applications has skyrocketed. Generally speaking, this trend will continue as the price of high-performance fuels rise. That’s because ethanol blends produce the same power at a lower price. Furthermore, the general public uses more E85 as gas prices rise. - Fill with water to the water fill line.
- Fill with the gasoline or alcohol to the E85 gas fill line.
- Reapply the cap and firmly tighten it to avoid any leaking liquid.
- Shake until contents are thoroughly blended.
- Rest on a flat surface and let the contents settle.
- Read the ethanol content by looking for the separation of gasoline and water.
